Reflection

We have each learned a tremendous amount from our learning, our successes and challenges; we have found it to be hard and rewarding work, and that we will not teach the same again. We came to these conclusions in different ways, we had different struggles, some with figuring out how to rework a well established methods class to getting the technology to do what we wanted. We also all learned different things. Yet we have shared how powerful this work has been – to have to think about what it really means to bring teacher education and practice together to support learning to teach and to do so using the multimedia websites. We have much left to explore – we hope we get to do some of that together, because working with mathematics education colleagues all trying to accomplish the same thing has been especially helpful and rewarding.
